How do porcelain veneers improve a smile?
At Oakstone Dental we use porcelain veneers, which are ultra thin shells bonded to the front of your teeth, to correct chips, worn edges, discolouration, gaps or uneven shapes. They create a smooth, even, natural looking appearance with minimal alteration to your enamel.
What is involved in getting porcelain veneers?
We typically remove just a half millimetre of enamel from the front of the tooth to make room for the veneer. We then take impressions and send them to our trusted lab. Once your custom veneers are ready we bond them securely to your teeth. Temporary veneers are not always required.
