If you are missing only one or multiple teeth, dental implants may be the answer.
Dental implants may be used to eliminate partial plates and dentures.
Implants have been used successfully for over thirty years and have a high success rate. They function and feel like your natural teeth. Dental implants are now the standard of care for replacing missing teeth.
Dental implants treatment represents a slightly greater investment than conventional treatment, however, the benefits of implant therapy for most people outweigh the minor additional cost involved.

Single Implants
A single tooth implant may be made if a tooth is missing or has been removed. A titanium implant is placed into the jawbone to resemble the tooth root.
Multiple Implants
The placing of multiple implants allows us to give you several or a whole set of new upper and/or lower teeth.
Implant Placement
There are two phases to implant dentistry.
Phase 1: Using very accurate surgical techniques, the implants are placed into dimensionally controlled sites (depth and width) in the jawbone.
This then must be allowed to establish itself and bind to the bone. This may take anywhere from 3-6 months.
If you have a missing tooth that is upsetting you and your smile, we will usually offer to make up a temporary tooth for you in this waiting stage.
Phase 2: What then connects to the titanium implant that has now bonded is called an abutment. We screw that abutment into the implant. Then in a matter of only two to three weeks, we place your new teeth on top.
Regular check ups, brushing twice a day and flossing once a day are required to ensure your new smile will last for many years.
